COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --The Franklin County DUI Task Force will be setting up two sobriety checkpoints in Clinton Township Friday night and early Saturday.
Officers will be along Westerville Rd., north of Agler Rd., from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., and on Westerville Rd., south of Innis Rd. from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
In addition, between now and September 1, Columbus police will be taking part in the nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
Besides putting more cruisers on the road for traffic enforcement, Sgt. Michael Smith with the Traffic Bureau says a mobile impaired driving processing vehicle, equipped with a breath-testing instrument, and sobriety checkpoints will be used.
