The South Carolina women's basketball team has Beyoncé's support.

On Wednesday (April 18), South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley took to social media to share that Beyoncé had sent her a bouquet of flowers and a letter congratulating her team on winning the national championship.

In the letter, Bey said she and her family had been watching the Gamecocks dominate all season long. The team finished off their perfect season by defeating star player Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes 87-75 in the final game of the NCAA women's basketball tournament on April 7.

"To Coach Staley and the entire South Carolina Gamecocks, me and my family watched your games and cheered you on through the entire season. I am so proud of you, all of my love," Staley read from Beyoncé's letter.

The singer also sent Staley merch inspired by her new album, Cowboy Carter. In her social media post, Staley motioned for someone in the background to "hit it," before Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em" started playing.

Staley went on to thank Bey's family for the congratulatory message.

"That's B. That's B. B and her family," the coach said in her post. "Yes, Mr. Carter. Yes, Blue, you did your thing, Blue. Sir and Rumi. B, thank you! We appreciate you; we are honored to wear your gear."
